Such a fun afternoon with Chantel and Patrick for the engagement photography session!  We started out at the fabulous Kicking Horse Coffee Cafe– enjoyed GREAT coffee- and then headed to the lake.

It was really a perfect October afternoon as we got to  know each other in anticipation of their wedding at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort next May- it’ll be beautiful, I’ve no doubt… extra exciting for me as we’ll also be doing a stop-motion film too!

Such a gorgeous, easy going and friendly pair.  I’m so excited to make pictures with them again next year!

I have to say, first off, what an incredibly fun and lovely couple Amy and Rene are.  Rene is SO funny and kept everybody in stitches!  Amy is a gem, all dreamy, gorgeous eyes, and totally game.  Together, they just are the best company, evidenced by the love and support that surrounded them on this gorgeous Saturday.

I am blessed with the most wonderful clients, and Amy and Rene are at the top of the heap.  It was just the best afternoon and I SO wish for them heaps more laughter and love!

Thanks to Amy and Rene, destination wedding photography made easy!

Ohmigoodness!  Handsome little Mason kept me on the RUN!!  There is nothing like a toddler to remind you just how… just how OLD you are!!  The little man was on the move, as evidenced by many of the shots captured.  But that’s life with a two-year-old!

What a gorgeous afternoon for this lovely family portrait photography session.  We went up to the family farm in Edgewater, where we could hang with the horses and the dogs and run, run, run!  The light was stunning and the family… well, what a beautiful bunch!

I love Maddy and her family and Mason is a total charmer!  It’s always such a pleasure to be able to spend time making pictures with them- pretty damned easy, really! 😉
