Crush the Composition!

March 28th, 2015.  9:00am- 4:00pm.
A six hour intensive composition workshop comprised of the essentials to create images with far more impact and consistency… offering you the opportunity to grow as a photographer, happier with your photographs!


Is this for beginners?
Yes. Although anyone can take a picture, not everyone can take a great photograph. Composition is the most important element for creating spectacular images. We will help you develop an eye for composition, which will dramatically improve the quality of your photos.

Is this a technical workshop?
No.  This workshop is designed specifically to address questions and techniques regarding composition.  This workshop will require Automatic setting primarily.  If you find you are looking for a more technical workshop… stay tuned!  A more advanced workshop is in the works to be offered very soon!

Why should I attend this workshop?
We want to help you achieve more consistency and satisfaction in the photographs you create.  We are two gals with a big passion for photography, and we believe in offering workshops that are fun and interactive providing you with new skills that will translate into developing your photography!

What kind of camera do I need?
This course is suitable for any camera – compact digital or DSLR… even your phone!

What do I need to bring to the workshop?
Your camera, memory cards, charged batteries, flash, and camera manual.  Dress according to the weather- be warm!- as we’ll be shooting outside.
We will take a short mid-day break, so please bring a bagged lunch.
Coffee, tea, and cookies will be provided.

Is there an age restriction?
This workshop is geared for adults. If there is enough interest with kids and teens, we will certainly consider offering another class geared to younger participants.

Where is the class located?
We are so pleased to be offering this workshop at the Pynelogs Cultural Centre!  Located at Kinsmen Beach in Invermere, it is a beautiful heritage building and art gallery, with many great photo opportunities just outside the door.

What is the cost?
The cost is $129 if you register before March 15, 2015.  If you are a procrastinator- you know who you are!!- then the cost will be $149 after March 15, 2015.
Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and space is limited!
