Category Archives: grads It doesn’t seem that long ago that our young neighbour Colby was, like, eight… and now, in a little over a week, he’ll be graduating highschool! I recently got together with young Colby and his girlfriend and grad partner, Darian, on a strangely dry and beautiful evening to capture a few shots of them in…  A couple of weeks ago, I had the immense pleasure of spending an afternoon into evening with one of my oldest and dearest friends and her daughter, Melody, entering into her senior year of highschool down in Idaho. We chose to do the bulk of the shoot at Melody’s grandparents rustic estate on Windermere Creek…  The season is upon us… young people preparing to step out into the wild and wooly world of adulthood (for some anyhow- I might have been a late bloomer. Ahem.). Blank slates with open hearts and minds eager to taste all of the new experiences and opportunities this new phase of life has in store. …  Morgan is a neighbour of ours. She is great with our kids… other neighbours kids… anybody’s kids! She is also graduating from highschool this month. Wisely, she’s planning to take a year off, and likely travel. She might then go off to pursue teaching- a natural choice… but she may also then go off and… |
