Despite bringing only their very first week as parents to a close, Lesley and Corey seemed pretty…  Mary Elisa is my sister-in-law. She has had what can only be described as the most physically, mentally and spiritually gruelling experiences anyone could really only conceive of in nightmares. Her battle with breast cancer began the summer of 2008 and finally, with the last of her reconstruction surgeries, came to its rightful end this…  My first baby turns 12 today. My Baby Boy: he still lets me hug him… and kiss him, even in public. Or perhaps, more accurately, he “tolerates” it for my sake. And I’m thankful. He’s harder to take pictures of. Self-conscious in a way he never was before. He’s become more ellusive… I have to…  It was 17 years ago yesterday when I first set foot upon the white sand of the Riviera Maya.
