Category Archives: destination I’ve probably included a weather rant in each one of my posts lately… as it WILL NOT stop raining… but last weekend in Golden saw yet another afternoon of sun in an otherwise crazy day of wet weather! Short of snow, I believe I drove through every possible weather genre… genre? Whatever… anyways spring has…  Oh, this past weekend was rainy, rainy, RAINY! As I made the short drive south to Fort Steele on Sunday afternoon, passing Skookumchuk and then Wasa, oddly the sky became clearer and clearer with each passing kilometre. What a relief… as it was POURING when I left my house. What luck and as I approached…  I am Tracy. And I am a Columbia-aholic. I love the Columbia River. I go down and hang with my kids. I float down in the summer. I shoot brides. I shoot families. And, I shoot couples. Couples like Jessica and Andrew, getting married up at the ski hill at the end of June, where… I got together with Michaela and Phil this past weekend to talk over the details of their wedding day at Fort Steele next month as well as take care of their engagement shoot/photographic icebreaker! In addition to the fun of shooting yet another great couple, this gig is exciting as I will finally be able…  Whew… how can you tell it’s the middle of February? I just want to curl up with my kids, our mushed up copy of The Lightning Thief and a pot of cheese fondue and my husband’s deliriously delicious fresh bread! But, alas, that’s not what this week has been. It’s been crazy-busy and I’m later… |
