Category Archives: destination I’m so pleased to be able to share this… a recent shoot at Fairmont Hot Springs Resort to promote new Executive Chef, Greg Godfrey and some of his recipes in You Be the Chef. The cookbook, showcasing recipes for each month, came out a couple of weeks ago and is filled with yummy foods, from soups…  Ugh… battling a bit o’ the mid-winter blues! In that spirit I thought I needed a little taste of sunshine and warmth… and immediately thought of the shoot I did during our beautiful Indian summer this past Septermber. I got together, as I like to do, with my good friend and fellow photog, Marlene Chabot,…  Catching up with Christmas portrait sessions… the Dowse Family was a lovely bunch, not to mention so very amenable to being dragged out onto icy local terrain, flirting with personal peril!  Parksville and Sunrise Ridge Waterfront Resort… where the beach grows and grows… and grows! Where in one moment you can’t leave the steps of the sea wall and another it’s all sand and sky and you ‘re walking forever into the horizon….  If bad weather on a wedding day is truly a good omen, then Amy and Eric are in for a wonderfully blissful life together! It was a wierd, wierd day up on the mountain.
